BPT is an undergraduate program designed to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills to become professional physiotherapists.
This course spans four and a half years, which includes four years of academic study and a mandatory six-month clinical internship. The curriculum is comprehensive, covering subjects such as anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, pathology, and various therapeutic techniques like electrotherapy and exercise therapy.
Admission to a BPT program requires candidates to have completed their 10+2 education in the science stream, with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as compulsory subjects. 1) A candidate applying for the degree of B.P.T being eligible for admission to the Physiotherapy College affiliated to UGC recognized University must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination recognized by any Indian University or a duly constituted Board and passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
2) Candidates who have studied abroad and have the equivalent certificate as per the guidelines of the Association of Indian Universities to determine the eligibility and must have passed in the subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English up to 12th Standard level.
3) Admission in Physiotherapy must be based passed on theory marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

5) He/she must furnish at the time of submission of application form, a certificate of physical fitness from a registered medical practitioner that the candidate is physically fit to undergo Physiotherapy course.
6) A candidate fulfilling above requirements will be provisionally admitted in the First Year of B.P.T Degree Program, as per the rules of Admission Committee, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar.
